• Present Taiwan’s Penal Code about Sexual Offences and Japan’s Future Penal Code Reform

Abstract

Japan reformed penal code of sexual offences in 2017 since 1907, Meiji era. There are many problems left, so the Ministry of Justice in Japan still has been arguing about penal code reform of sexual offences. This article introduces about Taiwan’s penal code reform about sex offences in 1999 and 2005 and those differences about sex offences of penal code between Japan’s penal code and Taiwan’s penal code. There are many things to learn from Asia such as Taiwan to reform our laws and legal system.
