本研究では高校生約500人を対象に質問紙調査を行い、高校生の将来展望を測定する尺度の開発を試みた。そして、「肯定的・積極的将来像」因子と「向社会的努力志向」因子の2因子構造をもつ将来展望尺度を作成した。この尺度を用いて、高校生の学校適応感との関連を検証した結果、学校に行きたいという気持ちの強さを示す総合的適応感覚に対して、将来展望は直接的な関連を示さなかった。しかし、学習適応などの要因を経由するかたちで、将来展望と総合的適応感覚との間に、間接的な関連があることが示唆された。また、将来展望と心理的不健康との関連については、「肯定的・積極的将来像」因子と心理的不健康との間に負の関連が示唆され、「向社会的努力志向」因子と心理的不健康との間には正の関連が示唆された。

In this research, we tried to develop a scale to measure the future prospects of high school students. For this purpose, we asked 500 high school students to fill out a questionnaire. Then, we developed a future prospects scale using two factors, which are “positive and active vision of the future" and “will to make prosocial efforts". The results after verifying, using this scale, the relationship with the feeling of being adapted to school among high school students suggest that a direct relationship does not exist between future prospects and the feeling of being extensively adapted, which shows how strong is the will of the students to go to school. However, if we take into consideration factors such as adaptation to learning, the results suggest that an indirect relationship exists between future prospects and the feeling of being extensively adapted to school. Regarding the relationship between future prospects and psychological unhealthiness, the results suggest that a negative relationship exists between the factor “positive and active vision of the future" and psychological unhealthiness, while a positive relationship seems to exist between the factor “will to make prosocial efforts" and psychological unhealthiness.
