[ABSTRACT] This oral history was provided by a Mongolian woman, Ms. Jinhua (b. 1935), in October 2018 and January 2019. Her hometown is Khorchin Left Wing Middle Banner, Jirim League, Inner Mongolia, China. She married to a student when she was twenty years old. After her marriage, she stayed home and lived away from her husband, who lived in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia, for ten years. In 1967, she moved to Hohhot with her three-year-old daughter. In her lifetime, she gave birth to three daughters. After her three daughters grew up a little, she started to work as a nursery at a kindergarten. Her three daughters have studied only in Chinese since junior high school, and while they can listen to and understand Mongolian, they cannot speak it fluently. She retired in 1999 and has converted to Christianity recently. She has been in Hohhot for 47 years and has never returned home.
