抄録

Sixty-two patients with severe obstructive jaundice, in whom thechnically satisfactory biliary drainage was performed, were analyzed. Levels of serum bilirubin were plotted on the logarithmic Ydistance and the postoperative days on the X -distance with normal scale. After biliary decompression, serum bilirubin levels decreased lineally on the semilogarithmic graphpaper in every case examined just like the disappearance pattern of ICG or ESP. Then, relation of the serum bilirubin levels (Y) and the postoperative days (X) could be formularized as Y=aebx, where "b", was referred to the decreasing rate of serum bilirubin. Clinical cource of obstructive jaundice were investigated based on the bilirubin decreasing rate "b".
