Abstract

オートプシー・イメージングは,剖検と関連づけながら死亡時に行う画像診断のことである.最終的な目的は死因の正確な推定にあり,死体の解剖率が先進国中最低の2パーセント台であるわが国の現状を踏まえて提唱されている,死亡時医学検索の新しい方法である.本稿では,計算解剖学に基づくオートプシー・イメージング支援を目指す本計画班の最近のいくつかの成果について紹介する.

Autopsy imaging (Ai) is defined as an imaging diagnosis performed in relation to autopsy. The goal is to achieve accurate estimation of cause of death. It is a new concept for autopsy proposed on the basis that the autopsy rate in Japan is nearly two percent, which is the lowest among the developed countries. This paper explains several achievements of our planned research group aiming development of a computer-aided diagnosis system for Ai based on computational anatomy.
