A clinical study on 62 cases of odontoma is reported.<BR>The study included 33 cases of compound type, 21 cases of complex type and 8 cases of undefined type histologically. Patient's ages at the first visit ranged from 7 to 74 years and the mean was 26 years. The compound type was found mostly in the upper anterior area, and the complex type was seen in the lower molar area prevalently. The chief complaints were disturbance of tooth eruption or dislocation of teeth commonly in the compound type and an inflammation in the complex type. Impacted teeth neighbouring the odontoma were seen in 74.2% of all cases. A large odontoma was obsei ved in 2 cases, each one in the maxillary sinus (33 g) and in the mandibular ramus (66g).
