Abstract

In politics, the sensibility words play an important role to move citizen's feelings with a brief slogan. The purpose of this paper is to examine the characteristics of the political affection by the feature of the sensibility words. The sensibility words have been extracted from the Web pages of Diet member of the Liberal-Democratic Party, the Democratic Party, the Communist Party, and the Social Democratic Party in Japan. The extracted sensibility words were classified and examined. It was clarified that Japanese politicians have some common characteristics about sensibility expressions irrelevant to their ideologies. Moreover, it is possible to analyze the nuance of a political slogan by utilizing the database of the words that has dependent relationships with obtained sensibility word.
