抄録

Among three cases of adenocarcinoma of the larynx, there was one case of adenoid cystic carcinoma (70 year-old, female) and two cases of mucoepidermoid carcinoma (64 year-old, male and 45 year-old, male).<br>Adenoid cystic carcinoma and mucoepidermoid carcinoma arise from the submucosal mucous gland, histogenetically. Such had a transitional pattern in our case (No. 2). Mucoepidermoid carcinoma arose from the main duct and the other was from the peripheral duct near the acinal gland.<br>Surgical treatment was carried out as the response to radiotherapy was poor. As macroscopic observations often present difficulties, the area to be excised should be determined after examination of the frozen section.
