抄録

There have been several attempts to clarify the reproduction and its cycle of the male cetacea (MACKINTOSH and WHEELER, 1929; CHITTLEBOROUGH, 1955; CLARKE, 1956; LAWS, 1961; SERGEANT, 1962; GAMBELL, 1968; and BEST, 1969) as in the case of female. It is important to investigate the reproduction of the male dolphin in order to sustain existense of sexual cycle in the female and also to asses the stock of dolphin.<BR>However, only a little information on the reproduction of the male dolphin has been available. The authors of this paper had several chances to carry out the investigation of the blue white dolphin, and tried to research into the testis mainly by the histological techniques for the accumulation of fundamental knowlege of the reproduction of this male dolphin.
