Abstract

3次元解析装置, 画像解析装置, クエット型回転粘度計および維持力測定装置を使用して, 1歯あるいは2歯の残存歯を持つ2人の被験者において通法にしたがって義歯を製作した.そして義歯床の形態を変化させた場合の維持力を測定し, 義歯床の形態が維持力に及ぼす影響について研究を行った.その結果, 義歯床の削除にともない維持力は減少した.また, 義歯床の維持力にはポストダムおよび後縁部が大きな役割を果たしており, 特にポストダムの影響は大きかった.さらに, 少数歯残存の症例においては両側の均衡咬合が重要であることが示唆された.
