Abstract

神奈川県内で1997~2008年に交通事故や傷病などのために保護された後に死亡した野生鳥類27種39羽について寄生蠕虫類の検査を行い,うち18種25羽から蠕虫類が検出された。このうち,吸虫:<I>Apharyngostrigea cornu</I>(アオサギ・チュウサギの小腸),<I>Cardiocephaloides longicollis</I>(セグロカモメの小腸),<I>Ophiosoma patagiatum</I>(チュウサギの小腸),<I>Uroproctepisthmium</I> sp.(アオサギの大腸・総排泄腔),条虫:<I>Paruterina candelabraria</I>(オオコノハズクの小腸),線虫:<I>Desmidocercella numidica</I>(アオサギの気嚢?)については日本では初報告,吸虫:<I>Brachylecithum</I> sp.(ツグミ・トラツグミの胆嚢),<I>Lyperosomum turdia</I>(アカハラの胆嚢),<I>Opisthorchis</I> sp.(アオサギの胆管),<I>Stictodora lari</I>(セグロカモメの小腸),線虫:<I>Desportesius spinulatus</I>(チュウサギの筋胃),<I>Stegophorus stercorarii</I>(ハシボソミズナギドリの筋胃)については,日本での新宿主報告と考えられた。

A helminthological survey was carried out on wild birds (39 individuals belonging to 27 species) which were rescued and died after protection in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, between 1997 and 2007. Helminths were detected from 25 individuals of 18 host species. New geographical records in Japan were as follows. Trematodes: <I>Apharyngostrigea cornu</I> from <I>Ardea cinerea</I> and<I> Egretta intermedia</I>,<I> Cardiocephaloides longicollis</I> from<I> Larus argentatus</I>, <I>Ophiosoma patagiatum</I> from <I>E. intermedia</I>, <I>Uroproctepisthmium</I> sp. from <I>A. cinerea</I>; Cestodes: <I>Paruterina candelabraria</I> from <I>Otus lempiji</I>; Nematodes: <I>Desmidocercella numidica</I> from <I>A. cinerea</I>. And new host records in Japan were given below. Trematodes: <I>Brachylecithum</I> sp. from<I> Turdus naumanni</I> and <I>Zoothera dauma</I>, <I>Lyperosomum turdia</I> from <I>Turdus chrysolaus</I>, <I>Opisthorchis</I> sp. from <I>A. cinerea</I>, <I>Stictodora lari</I> from <I>L. schistisagus</I>, <I>Desportesius spinulatus</I> from <I>E. intermedia</I>, <I>Stegophorus stercorarii</I> from <I>Puffinus tenuirostris</I>.
