抄録

Two cases of Burkitt's type malignant lymphoma complicated with intussusception are reported.<br> Case 1. A 7-year-old boy was admitted with a right neck tumor and abdominal pain and distension. Acute appendicitis was suspected, and an emergency operation was performed. At operation an intestinal tumor was resected, and an appendectomy was also performed. The histological diagnosis was Burkitt's type malignant lymphoma. One week later, a right neck tumor was resected, and was also diagnosed histologically as Burkitt's type malignant lymphoma. Three months after the operation, the patient died.<br> Case 2. A 3-year-old girl had an intestinal tumor resected. It was diagnosed histologically as Burkitt's type lymphoma. She was referred to our hospital for chemotherapy. She is still well 2 years after the operation.
