抄録

Cytogenetical studies of Mentha japonica were made using the species crosses with 3 mint species (Mentha rotundifolia, M.spicata, M.arvensis var. agrestis, and M.arvensis var. piperascens) of the known genome constitution and it was concluded that the genome constitution of M.japonica is R^aR^aJJ. Also, during the research the authors discussed the genealogical development in mint species.
