抄録

Pisatin, a phytoalexin of pea (Pisum sativum L. ), was extacted from pea epicotyl dipped into 10^4-M HgCI₂ and its maximum content reached at 48 hrs after the treatment. Crude pisatin from treated epicotyl inhibited severely spore germ-tube growth of F. solani f. pisi. Also, pisatin was produced in pea epicotyl treated with following fungicides: kasumin, sanyol, benlate and sankel.
