Abstract

本報では,Phytophthora nicotianae var. parasiticaによるイチゴ疫病の簡易検定法を検討した。イチゴ疫病菌,炭そ病菌およびRhizoctonia属菌が高頻度で苗床のイチゴ萎凋・立枯れ株から分離され,これらの菌は人工接種によりイチゴ苗に強い病原性を示した。一方,これらの菌の中で,イチゴ疫病菌のみがナス果実に,温度25~35C,高湿度下で病原性を示した。イチゴ疫病菌は直接罹病したクラウン部から分離するよりも,このクラウン部の小片をナス果実に埋めこみ接種して発病した部位から検出する方が高頻度で得られた。

Phytophthora nicotianae var. parasitica, Colletotrichum fragariae and Rhizoctonia sp. were isolated with high frequency from damping of seedlings of strawberry collected from nursery beds and these fungi were highly pathogenic to strawberry seedlings by artificial inoculation. In this work, a simple method was devised for diagnosing Phytophthora rot of strawberry. The fungus, P. nicotianae var. parasitica was pathogenic to fruit of eggplant only under high humidity at 25-35 C, and was isolated more frequently from the diseased fruit of eggplant artificially inoculated with a piece of infected strawberry crown tissue than from the tissue of infected strawberry itself when incubated under high humidity at 25-35 C for 2-4 day incubation.
