抄録

A case of epithelioid sarcoma was reported. A 28-year-old man had a refractory ulcer in his right lower leg, which led to incorrect diagnosis and insufficient surgical treatments. Epithelioid sarcoma is often to be confused with a variety of benign and malignant conditions, such as granulomatous process, ulcerating squamous cell carcinoma and synovial sarcoma. Besides the results of pathomorphological and special stains, immunohistochemical examination and analysis of nuclear DNA content by micro fluorometry were useful to distinguish this tumor from other tumors and inflammatory processes.
