抄録

Highly polymerized ribonucleic acids were prepared by phenol method from the posterior silkglands of a domestic and four wild species of silkworm larvae in the last instar, including Bombyx mori, Antheraea pernyi, Dictyoploca japonica, Philosamia cynthia ricini and Philosamia cynthia pryéri respectively.<BR>The base composition determined by a quantitative paperchromatographic method is shown in Table 1.<BR>The base composition of the RNA, as well as the amino acid composition of the fibroin, appears to be species-specific, but subspecies-nonspecific.
