In Kochi, Streetcar is one of the most important transportation, but the safety measure for streetcar dose not enough. In this paper, we introduce the activity of Regional ITS Infrastructure Research Center about the safety measure for streetcar in Kochi. We focus on the effect of the safety measure about ‘No Safety Barriers’ First observation of this measurement is that drivers drive more carefully. Secondly Users of streetcar feel the sense of security. The all user who we asked answer this safety measure is good.
