抄録

The clinical usefulness of AG-1 cream, a new antipruritic and moisturizing topical drug, in patients with xerotic dermatoses was evaluated at 11 institutes for five months from November, 1988 to March 1989.<BR>The following results were obtained.<BR>1. Four weeks after topical applications of AG-1 cream, the final global improvement rating was 90.5%(124 out of 137 cases).<BR>2. Side effects were observed in 2 patients out of 154 (1.3%).<BR>3. The usefulness rate of markedly useful or moderately useful was 88.2%(134 out of 152 cases).<BR>From these results, it is considered that AG-1 cream is a useful topical drug which provides a potent antipruritic and moisturizing effect on xerotic dermatoses.
