抄録

The clinical efficacy of whitening cream containing kojic acid and oil-soluble licorice extract was evaluated in 18 cases of senile pigment fleckle on the face. As results, improvement ratio including slightly to moderately improved cases was 77.8%(14 cases), and 22.2%(4cases) showed no change. No case was worsen in his/her lesions. Although a few cases complained of slight irritation, the serious side effects were not observed. The final usefulness ratio, considering its side effects, was 83.4%(15 of 18 cases). In conclusion, whitening cream containing kojic acid and oil-soluble licorice extract was safe and useful for the treatment of senile pigment fleckle.
