抄録

Netilmicin was given to 20 patients, 13 with respiratory tract infections and 7 with urinary tract infections. The drug was administered intramuscularly at a daily dose of 150mg or 200mg.<BR>1) Efficacy rate was counted 61% in respiratory tract infections and 71% in UTI. The overall efficacy was 65%.<BR>2) Netilmicin was especially effective to infections by E. coli and Klebsiella and not so effective to infections by P. aeruginosa.<BR>3) Transient elevation of transaminases was noted in one case. Nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity were not noted.
