Abstract

This paper deals with synthesis problems for active noise control systems of one-dimensional duct. Since it is important to reduce the cost of the active noise control systems for practical use, sampled-data H_∞control synthesis is applied to design a digital controller with long sampling period. As conventional synthesis methods, both continuous-time H_∞ control based synthesis and discretized H_∞ control synthesis are also applied to the problem. Experimental results show that sampled-data H_∞ control synthesis can active better performance than the conventional methods.
