抄録
新しか経口キノロン系抗菌剤pazufloxacin (PZFX) の副鼻腔炎に対する有効性と安全性を評価する目的で鼻粘膜などの組織内移行および多施設統一プロトコールによる一般臨床試験を行い, 以下の成績を得た.<BR>1. PZFXは上顎洞粘膜, 上顎洞貯留液, 節骨洞粘膜および鼻茸への良好な移行を示した.<BR>2. 臨床効果判定をなし得た45例に対する有効率は, 本剤1回100mgまたは200mgを1日2～3回の投与で急性副鼻腔炎に対し83%, 慢性副鼻腔炎急性増悪症に対し80%, 全体で82%であった.<BR>3. X線所見の改善度につかて検討し得た37例に対する改善率は65%であつた.<BR>4. 単独菌感染の菌消失率はグラム陽性菌で82%, グラム陰性菌で100%であり, 複数菌感染例を含め全体で78%であった.<BR>5. 副作用は51例中1例も認められなかった. また, 臨床検査値異常としては好酸球増多および単球増多が各1例に認められたが, いずれも軽度であった. 以上の成績から, PZFXは副鼻腔炎に対し1日300～600mg投与により高か有用性の得られる薬剤であると考えられた.
