Abstract

Multilayer films of layered double hydroxide (LDH) nanosheets and semiconductor nanoparticles of ZnS–AgInS2 solid solution (ZAIS) or CdS were prepared by a layer-by-layer deposition technique. The photoluminescence properties were remarkably dependent on the stacked structure of the films owing to the energy transfer from CdS to ZAIS nanoparticles.
