Abstract

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>A nickel-catalyzed heteroannulation has been developed where o-haloanilines react with alkynes to afford 2,3-disubstituted indoles. IPr (1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene) was found to be an effective ligand for the reaction.</jats:p>
