Abstract

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>A pincer Pt(II) complex with amide groups was investigated with respect to the change in their luminescence color in solid state. The Pt(II) complex exhibited mechanochromic behavior, changing from green to orange upon grinding. In addition, the orange luminescence changed to yellow via vapochromism.</jats:p>
