抄録

This study made clear some reasons why city dwellers participate into Paddy Fields Schools such as 1) the preference of the parents to experience nature and agriculture, and 2) the desire of the parents to experience their children. The study also revealed some elements of the activities that engraved in the participants' mind such as 1) non-daily activities, 2) intellectual and aesthetic satisfaction, and 3) communication with other participants. It is recognized that Paddy Fields Schools have an excellent effect on deeping sensibility of the participants. It is considered that agricultural activities in Paddy Fields Schools develop the sensibility recognizing creatures, nature and communication.
