Abstract
This paper proposes a direct controller parameter tuning method by applying particle filtering to a system derived from the performance index of fictitious reference iterative tuning which is a kind of direct controller tuning method. First, a linear plant is dealt with as a basic case, and then, the proposed method is extended to plants with dead-zone and hysteresis nonlinearities. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
