Abstract
This study examines four approaches (Google, Legal database, both, question and answer (Q&A) sites) to searching for legal information in terms of efficiency, accuracy and influence of domain knowledge. Forty-two participants took part in an experiment to answer legal questions through Internet-based searching. This paper proposes three behavioral models of web-based searching for legal information and presents the outlines of a useful legal database.
