- ウェイクギャロッピングにおける流れ場の数値流体解析による検討
Abstract
The flow around two circular cylinders in tandem arrangement is numerically investigated, in which the center-to-center spacing of the cylinders is twice the cylinder diameter and the downstream cylinder has a single-degree-of-freedom in transverse to approach-flow direction. The flow field and the flow-induced response of the downstream cylinder are computed simultaneously, and based on the computational results the relationship between the response of the downstream cylinder and the flow behavior is discussed. Points focused in the present study are the characteristic of the upstream-cylinder shear-layer reattachment on the downstream cylinder and the downstream-cylinder-motion dependency of the flow passing through the space between the cylinders.
