Abstract
The objective of this study is to develop an evaluation method of team situation awareness based on mutual belief. Firstly, a questionnaire to extract beliefs possessed by a team member was developed. Secondly, an experiment of team cooperation was conducted using flight simulator to test the utility of the questionnaire. Thirdly, two indexes of team situation awareness were proposed based on the results of the questionnaire. One is TSP (Team Sharedness Point) and the other is SAP1 (Situation Awareness Point of the 1st layer). Finally, by comparing team performance with these two indexes, the utility of the proposed method was confirmed. The results confirmed that it is necessary to consider not only individual abilities but also sharedness of beliefs for team performance assessment.
