Abstract
In this paper, I examine the long term change on the wage decrease in job changes as a consequence of the fluidization of labor market and employment. Findings are as follows; (1) from 1956 to 2005, both of job changes and the wage decrease in job changes have increased. (3) According to the logistic regression analysis, the downward mobility between firm sizes had contributed to the wage decrease greatly for 50 years. And, there was no statistical significant effect except the downward mobility between firm sizes at the rapid economic growth period, stable economic growth period and the bubble economy era. However, the downward mobility between firm sizes, the mobility to irregular workers, non-self-motivated job quits and work years in the former job affected the wage decrease in the lost decade.
