Abstract

レール圧が40MPaのインジェクタにより大気中に間欠噴射された噴霧液滴の速度,サイズおよび飛行方向を2次元位相ドップラー流速計を用いて計測した.噴孔から40mm下流において,噴霧中心に比べて外縁では内向き液滴の割合が高いこと,また内向き液滴の速度およびサイズが外向き液滴に比べて小さいことを明らかにした.

2-D phase doppler technique was used for the measurements of the velocity, size, and flight direction of droplets in diesel sprays. The diameter of the nozzle orifice was 0.113mm. The rail pressure was set at 40MPa by using a common rail system. Measurement position was located at 40mm from the nozzle exit. A part of droplets near the spray center had the radial velocity component to the spray periphery. On the contrary, a part of droplets in the periphery region had the radial velocity component to the spray center. It is understood that combination of these two radial transfers of droplets develops vortices in the periphery region. It is shown that these two radial transfers occurred alternately.
