Abstract

L字形状は射出成形品の重要かつ基本的な構成要素であり,その内反りメカニズムの解明は,射出成形品の反りメカニズム理解にとっても重要である.本研究では,ガラス繊維強化樹脂射出成形品のL字コーナーに生じる内反りと熱膨張異方性の関係について詳細に調査を行った.まず,理論的な考察により,L字コーナー部の内反り角が板厚方向の熱膨張係数と樹脂流動方向の熱膨張係の差に比例することを見出し,さらに実験結果との比較によって,上記異方性を考慮した簡便な熱弾性モデルによるシミュレーションが工業的に有用な精度で内反りを予測可能であることを確認した.

The most important and fundamental shape in injection molded parts is the L-shape. Information about the mechanism by which the angle of the corner of this shape deforms is also valuable for understanding the warpage mechanism of injection molded parts. In this study, we investigate the relationship between the deformation angle of L-shaped parts and thermal expansion coefficient (TEC) anisotropy, particularly for fiber-reinforced thermoplastics.<BR>A theoretical estimate of the angular deformation of an L-shaped part compared to a finite element analysis (FEA) simulation using a TEC anisotropic model indicate that the angular deformation of L-shaped parts is proportional to the difference between the TEC values in the normal direction and the mold direction. The results also show that experimental angular deformations can be predicted using FEA simulations with sufficient accuracy for use in industry.
