<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>A pair of meso-tetrakis{α,α,α,α-o-(isonicotinoylamino)phenyl}porphyrins (P1) was coupled by quadruple Pd(II) coordinations, generating a cofacial and fluorescent porphyrin dimer. Photoinduced electron transfers from the dimer to benzoquinones were investigated. Furthermore, Pd(II) coordinations to the α,β,α,β-atropisomer P2 yielded fluorescent porphyrin fiber with a monomolecular width.</jats:p>
