Abstract

竹林保有者の高齢化に伴う放置竹林の増加は深刻な社会問題であり,建築資材として有益な木材である檜などの育成への悪影響が生じている.竹材をコンクリート補強材として有効利用することが可能となれば,環境面における貢献の一助となる.本研究では孟宗竹および女竹を対象として,コンクリート補強材としての適用性を検討した.すなわち,竹材の引張強度特性を明らかにするとともに,これを補強材とした床版を作製し押抜き強度を測定した.その結果,耐力に関しては適用可能であることが明らかとなった.

The applicability of bamboo as concrete reinforcement was investigated in this study. The tensile strength of bamboo as concrete reinforcement is much lower than steel bar reinforcement. However, one of the merits is the effective use of natural resources. And, there would be no need to consider the problems such as carbonization and salt damage which are fundamental and important on RC structures, since bamboo does not rust. In this study, the tensile strength property of bamboo was experimentally obtained as the basic data. Then the strength properties of bamboo reinforced concrete (BRC) slabs in which the bamboo was used as reinforcement was investigated.
