Abstract

We performed the evaluation experiment which studied the relation between the signs and the advertisements in the stations concerning the spaces and the colors of those.It was found that: the black background signs are "easy to find it" and make "good atmosphere". When there is no advertisement, it is "easy to find signs" and "worst atmosphere". When the positions of advertisements are separated from the signs, it made it easy to find the sign but doesn't improve the atmosphere. To lower a color chroma of the advertisement is the slightly effective to find the signs in the stations, but, it makes the atmosphere worse.
