抄録

A strategy to directly prepare maltopentaose-block-poly(N,N-diethylacrylamide), Mal5-block-PDEAA, based on the reversible addition–fragmentation chain-transfer (RAFT) polymerization technique as a metal-free process is described. Mal5-block-PDEAA generated stable nanoaggregates in water with an average hydrodynamic radius (Rh) of 109 nm by heating to around the human body temperature; thus, the present strategy is useful for the preparation of polymers for biomedical applications.
