Abstract

本稿の目的は,新卒採用活動(以降,採用活動)に焦点を当て,そこで重要な役割を果たす自社が求める人材が多く集う良質な応募者集団を形成するために必要な組織内部の要因(組織要因と部門要因)は何かを検討することにある.調査は日本の上場企業に対するインタビュー調査と質問票調査の双方を用いて得られたデータを基に分析を行った.分析結果は,日本企業の新卒採用活動に関する理解を促進するものである.

This study aims to elucidate activities involved in hiring new graduates in Japanese listed companies. It focuses on factors affecting the formation of a group of good applicants, including organizational and personnel department factors. In this study, qualitative and quantitative data obtained from Japanese companies are analyzed. As a result of the analysis, several factors are revealed that affect the formation of a group of good applicants. The analysis result is considered to be useful for developing a more effective human resource management (HRM) system. By explaining the recruitment practices conducted by Japanese companies for new graduates, this study provides better understanding of their recruitment strategies and provides suggestions for linking strategic management and HRM.
