抄録

In this study, a novel polyurethane having an ionic liquid (PU-IL) in the main chain structure was synthesized for the first time. PU-IL was obtained in relatively high yields (88.6%). The molecular weights of PU-IL were Mn = 4.92 × 104, Mw =9.68 × 104, and Mw/Mn = 2.0. The thermal stability of PU-IL was measured by thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), and weight loss started at 300°C. The Young’s modulus was 62.9 MPa, taken from the stress-strain curve. Transmission coefficient of CO2 and O2 in gas permeation measurements were 11.5 barrer and 0.028 barrer. Thus, this material can be used as a carbon dioxide separation membrane.
