Abstract

We conducted a questionnaire on two-income households attending day nurseries in order to clarify that taking their children to day nurseries and from is related to their child rearing value. At the result of the questionnaire, we confirm that the mothers, not fathers, welcome and send their children off to day nurseries at around 70% households. The results of the questionnaire show that they feel dissatisfied with welcoming and sending off when it is far between their home and day nurseries. Moreover, we found that dissatisfaction with welcoming and sending off affects working parents’ negative approach for child rearing.
