Abstract

Abstract
A new photoassisted deposition (PAD) method using fullerene C60 is developed. Photoexcited fullerene C60 introduced within the mesopore of SBA-15 acts as an anchor to reduce Ru3+ ions to the highly dispersed Ru metal with a narrow size distribution. Such uniform Ru nanoparticles (NPs) show high catalytic activity for dehydrogenation of ammonia borane than the sample prepared by conventional impregnation method.
