Abstract

The purpose of this study is to propose a method of quantification decision making for patent claim to make effectual use of patent. In this study we proposed three parameters, the number of noun phrase in grammatical case, the ratio of characteristic part and the rate of change in the noun phrase, after thought sufficiency of required construction and formation process of patent claim. We analyzed patent claim by these quantitative decision making parameters. It was found from the result that these three parameters 紅e closely connected with usefulness of patent. Furthermore in this paper we raised the distinguishing method of validity of decision making for patent claim using these three parameters. And we reviewed the accuracy of proposed distinguishing method using the latest examples.
