Abstract
This paper examines how Kaneka develops cell separation devices and what policy is necessary to stimulate the growth of cell therapy industry. Kaneka has converted concept of their existing product to develop the devices, which are differentiated from competitor's product. To increase new entrants into the cell therapy industry, it is necessary to provide support for business dealing with products, which will be commercialized in a few years.
