Disaster reconstruction process and its pattern have been often discussed from the social point of views. By the way, the Great East Japan earthquake and tsunami fit the deeply indented coastline of the Tohoku area. This study focused on the geographical factors on the land readjustment projects after the event and discussed the reconstruction patterns from the geographyical points. Furthermore, the most effective factor on the reconstruction pattern was made clear by the dicision tree analysis.
