抄録
40 micrometer-sized polystyrene particles coated by polymer shells with various hydrophilic–hydrophobic balances were synthesized by seeded dispersion polymerization and used as a foam stabilizer. It was confirmed that foamability and foam stability increased with an increase in the hydrophobicity of the polymer particle surface.
