抄録

An asymmetric allylic alkylation reaction of 1,3-diphenylprop-2-en-1-yl acetate with dimethyl malonate was examined using C2-symmetric chiral bidentate bis(N-heterocyclic carbene)-based palladium catalysts. The alkylated product was obtained in 96% yield with good enantioselectivity (80% ee).
