Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to explore the process of the new product development of one Japanese traditional craft company for foreign market entry with the detail case study. Based on our case study, it is shown that the top-manager obtained Galilean Serendipity from his entrepreneurial behaviour and utilized it to create the special product to overcome the cultural barrier of foreign market. From our findings, it can be hypothetically insisted that Galilean Serendipity is the useful viewpoint to analyze the new product development of one Japanese traditional craft company for foreign market entry.
