Abstract

<p>A novel series of anion conductive polymers, quaternized poly(phenylene alkylene)s (QPAs), were synthesized and characterized. Because of the unique main chain structure composed of alkylene and ammonium-functionalized fluorene groups, QPA thin membranes exhibited high ion conductivity and good chemical and mechanical stabilities.</p>
