Abstract

The inhabitants who have higher spectating intention hold a higher degree of place attachment. Moreover, the inhabitants who have experience of spectating behavior hold a higher degree of place attachment than those who do not have it.<BR>    The results of this study indicate some existence of the relationship between spectating intentions or behaviors at sporting events, and place attachment. However, the cause and effect relationship between them has not been established clearly. It is necessary to make continuous research targeted at the inhabitants.
